Spring/Summer:
  • Dryer vents cleaned; helps prevent fires.
  • Inspect the exterior of the house for rot or leaks; address issues before they become costly.
  • Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors; ensure you're alerted before it's too late.
  • Drain water heater; helps the lifespan of your water heater.
  • Inspect plumbing, check for leaks, turn outside hose bibs back on.
  • Replace furnace filter; ensure efficiency.
 
Fall/Winter:
  • Check HVAC system filters and clean coil; helps lifespan of HVAC system.
  • Winterize pipes; insulate pipes in unheated areas to prevent freezing and bursting.
  • Turn outside hose bibs off.
  • Seal cracks; look for gaps around windows and doors and seal them to prevent heat loss.
  • Clean gutters; ensure proper flow and prevent clogs.
  • Check attic for wet or missing insulation.​
